2008

Happy New Year!!! I can't believe it's already 2008.2007 for me was full of unexpected happenings, good and not so good. I wonder how things would've turned out if outcomes were different, but surprisingly, I have no regret... I think this past year made me strong in many ways. Physically, I'm taking better care of myself. Emotionally and mentally, I'm more stimulated, and being exposed to new insights on life and everything.
I appreciate good things as they are. I appreciate good friends. I appreciate my family. I don't know what my 2008 will be like, but I can only try to make this the best year yet.
I spent the new year at my hometown. We didn't do anything special. Just the usual, but it was very special. My dad and I shared drinks (yes, alcoholic drinks) for the first time, and I spent time with my parents and grandma, plus my oldest brother who visited for few days. We had snow, and everything turned white. I went for a walk like I used to do before I went to Seattle, without my dog I had back then. Only thing I heard was the sound of snow and my breath, nothing else. I had a lot on my mind, so I was thinking quite a bit, but I couldn't ask for better way to start a new year.
