Just give me pills!

This week, I caught a flu, and I spent half the week in bed, suffering from fever and everything else... It was very unpleasant experience. While it was a nice break from work, it's really draining emotionally and physically.

Japanese people go to a hospital for flu... I just needed over-the-counter flu medicine, but there is no such thing in Japan, and I think it sucks.

All I needed was flu medicine... But since there was none, I got the best cold medicine for my symptoms, and I took the matter to my own hands, and had lots and lots and lots of fluids, crackers, fruits and more fluids.

I'm not 100%, but much better. I just don't see the need of going to the hospital for something that can be taken care of at home. This was another episode of questioning Japanese people's "common sense."
